The cabin site on 26 private acres surrounded by cedar trees, a pond and southern Indiana's rolling ridges with expansive views. Equipped kitchen with stone fireplace and hand-crafted cabinets. Cozy living room with vintage parlor stove, digital TV/DVD and sleeper sofa. Queen pillow top bed upstairs. large full bathroom. 2 covered porches, rocking chairs, porch swing, Hammock, Gazebo with outdoor napping bed. Fishing pond and outdoor shower. Relaxing Getaway

Cabin and property are beautiful! The old cabin has a lot of charm and is well decorated. Porch that overlooks the pond was one of my favorite spots...spent every morning out there with a cup of coffee watching the wildlife. If you want a relaxing place to get away from it all for a bit, I would highly recommend this cabin!

Love this cabin!!

This was our second stay at this cabin. The setting, the view and the cabin itself are just perfection. Very clean and well stocked. Absolute peace!! Will definitely return next year.

The property is just as we remember it from 10 years ago. Just as well-appointed and cozy. Especially love all of the antiques & lamp options for creating an intimate getaway, & its proximity to both Madison & Clifty Falls State Park.

Peaceful getaway

The cabin is very rustic with decor from much simpler times. Waking up in the morning in the cozy loft to that awesome view was just what we needed. It was very clean and had everything we could want. The property is absolutely beautiful and so well cared for, we really hated to leave. The only negative was the roads you had to navigate to get there, but it was so worth it. I would highly recommend this beautiful property.

If you are looking to get away from it all in a sweet cabin, this is for you. So peaceful, we look forward to returning in warmer weather to enjoy the quiet outdoors even more. Loved making a fire outside at night. Great kitchen, all you need to do is bring all your food. This is one of the best VRBOs we've been in, and we've traveled extensively! A perfect a fun calm getaway.

Very nice!

We loved the property! Everything we needed was at the cabin. We found new little things tucked away in the decor every day. The neighbor dogs, Macey & Forest were very good dogs and just passed through daily. Only about 20 minutes to Madison, very enjoyable.

My husband and I were married the morning of the 12th of January 2024 and our stay at the cabin was for our honeymoon. We both loved the experience very much and would really love to go back during the warm weather to be able to enjoy all that there is to offer at the property.

Wonderful get away

I usually travel to TN (from indy) for my weekend getaways but figured this time I would try a closer location. I was not disappointed. It would be hard to find a better more beautiful view in Indiana. On top of that the cabin itself is so charming and full of history. One of the coolest places I have stayed. 10/10 recommend.

A piece of Heaven

To celebrate our 20th anniversary, my husband and I wanted to find a secluded cabin to connect with each other and this place did not disappoint! It surpassed all expectations. Macy and Forest were welcome company on the porch and bank of the pond. We thought we would visit Madison and explore but this cabin was worth every moment we had so we never left the property! We will be back for sure!!!

Your New Happy Place

From start to finish, amazing! This property has so much to offer and see. We arrived to a deer by the pond. It was instant relaxation the second we stepped out of the truck. The cabin is absolutely perfect in every way. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and stay in instead of eating out. The bathroom is huge and stays nice and warm. First thing I did was look at the beautiful view from the porch. You seriously can’t go wrong with this cabin. We hiked one of the trails and it was so quiet and peaceful. There are some huge fish in the pond and since the water is very clear, you can see them really well. As you go back inside and head up the super cute stairs, you find the most comfy bed and another amazing view from the bedroom window. You feel like you are in the mountains without the 8 hr drive lol. Our host was fantastic and everything in the house was so clean and well put together. There are lots of little surprises around the house if you look closely. Look by the back door in the little hole carved into the left side of the door frame……. So cute. Explore and enjoy this absolutely breathtaking property. We will be back over and over and over!!!!! Hope to get to meet Macy and Forrest like we did!
