"We had an amazing time staying at Massimo’s place. The villa is even more beautiful in person and was well stocked, clean, and comfortable. It was central to a bunch of other nearby places on our list to visit and centrally located in the town. Massimo was a great host and very communicative and helpful throughout our stay as well as during our trip planning process. Can’t recommend staying here enough, and would love to come back to stay again. His place made our trip so special!"

"OK for a short stay. Definitely need a car. Pros: Nice and clean room (we had a family room) with AC, safe box and fridge, parking onsite, dinner available upon request, breakfast included. Cons: The owners live onsite and a bit intrusive. Breakfast although included was basic. Dinner can be provided but no choice, you get whatever you're given and, in my case, fixed price regardless if I had a full or reduced menu. Also no idea of the price of it until check out. My wife got shouted at across the room at breakfast for having food in the room which, apparently, attracted their dogs??? The poor dog got chased by the owner with a broom whilst being shouted at on a few occasions which made it very uncomfortable for us. We were there for 12 nights and was dreading going back at the end of the day, even stopped attending breakfast after 3rd day. It's not appreciated if evening meal it's not had onsite. Expect being asked why not, every time you miss it. On check in we got told that we should be careful with water and electricity usage. He even came and set up the AC at 25C. Not easy changing it either."

"Hosts were amazing! They were so down to earth. They didnt speak english that well but we were able to share our thoughts and ideas some how. The place is cozy and welcoming. Great breakfast with some items that were homemade! You will need a vehicle to access the location and get around (we got a rental car). Parking available right next to the property. We felt like family. My wife and i would come back."

"As soon as we saw the photos of Villa Nicrys we knew we had to stay here & we were not disappointed at all. Nadia & Beppe are wonderful hosts, who made sure our stay was fantastic, welcoming us with a cold drink & fresh coffee when we arrived & always on hand to make suggestions for trips/restaurants etc when needed but not at all intrusive. The villa is even more magnificent in person with a stunning attention to detail & a wonderful decadent style, in my daughters words ‘it feels like we are staying in a palace’. Besides all the rooms stated there is also an office, plus a separate self-contained double studio with its own shower room & outside mini kitchen. The owners have a self-contained apartment built under the villa which may not be for everyone, but honestly (due to the way the property is designed) we were barely even aware they were there. The villa can very comfortably accommodate 8 people and will definitely not feel cramped in any way. Maglie is a lovely town with the Villa sitting about 1.5km from the centre and was a very pleasant surprise, with a good selection of basic and upmarket shops/supermarkets, a relaxed atmosphere plus plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars, even a Michelin recognised restaurant. Maglie is a perfect base, with much to do within an hour’s drive not that we wanted to leave the villa at all. I could rave about our stay all day but in a nutshell we will definitely be returning"
