Stayed for a week visiting my college student son. Great walkability, fun neighborhood, great metro transportation. Hotel was clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Furnishings a bit more basic than I’d expected but the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast buffet for €12 was a very good deal. The only disappointment was the rooftop spa/hot tub was not open despite the website saying it was.

We spent two weekend nights, we were given room 407 which is right in front of a club and a alimentarios shop open all night. Noisy crowd all night till after 6am. I am sure the hotel knows about that problem. Expedia gold members or not, we felt we were downgraded; our stay in Madrid less enjoyable because of that

Modern furnished hotel Comfy beds and great shower in a modern bathroom Reception staff are so friendly Breakfast buffet €12 with great choice Would highly recommend as central (15mins walk from Sol) and only 2mins walk to Metro stop Even though on a busy road a room on the back of the hotel was very quiet Only complaint, and one I will be taking up with Expedia, is it was advertised as having a rooftop pool and sun deck and I felt I paid more for that in the price. However pool was closed until May and they would even let you sit up there Not happy at this disingenuous listing Otherwise would give the hotel a five star
