"The room does need some renovation, the cistern needs to be replaced it has 2 cracks on the top, the screen door fell off when I tried to open it my husband put it back on the rails, the doona needs to be put in the bin had lots of stains on it, the carpet in the bedroom had a large big black stain, carpet needs to be steam cleaned, the kitchen had a smell which turned me off using anything in the kitchen, upon returning from going out there was always a musty smell throughout the apartment we had to open all the sliding doors to get the smell out, the large wrap around balcony was good but outdoor furniture particularly the chairs need to be replaced. Within walking distance of the restaurants and beach, can’t say I would stay there again."

"Upon arrival the staff at reception was warm and welcoming although when we checked into our room I was far from impressed. Our towels were dirty but had been folded in a way to try and disguise the dirtiness. The bed covers and sheets had stains on them which was appalling and the hot water didn’t work in our room. It says it’s supposed to be a 4 star hotel but honestly wouldn’t go past a 1 star. Very disappointed. "

"Oaks The Entrance Waterfront was a great location however the property is really dated. The staff were under the pump when everyone arrived at 2:00, and had some difficult people to deal with and managed it well with smiles on their faces doing the best they could. The pool has so many tiles missing off the surface you're lucky not to cut your feet, and the spa is awful. This area was huge and would be excellent if updated and maintained.The gym was closed altogether which was a big disappointment to us. The rooms are dated with difficult small access into the shower over a corner spa. The balcony area was lovely to sit and look over the water. The bed was comfortable and the kitchenette was handy and had everything you would need. "

"We stayed here for only one night to break up a long drive. The room and bathroom were clean and tidy. Although the rooms decor isn't on trend, it is all still very functional. I would definitely recommend this hotel."
