Excellent service with a warm welcome and attentive staff.The room was fantastic with comfortable bedding - excellent Wi-Fi connections and complete tv services. The bathroom was perfect matched the quality of the bedroom . Friendly staff and a beautiful historic building for accommodation with the a lovely indoor and outdoor environment . I look forward to staying again hopefully soon .

Great bar staff Jed was brill. Line dancing on Wednesday so all locals in up stairs. Could smell cigarette smoke on returning to my room. Rooms a bit dated

Great place to stay

The staff were excellent. The Xmas decorations lovely. Made to feel very welcome. The food I had was excellent. There is a nice bar attached just refitted, Underfloor heating in the bathroom is a nice touch also. One of the few hotels I have had a decent sleep in their beds. It is on a busy road so during the week the traffic starts around 6.30 but not really an issue as I would be be getting up for work. They make really good proper scramble eggs for breakfast. Continental and full cooked available from 7.00am

Ok stop over.

My room was cold, as the heating which is switched on from reception hadn't been turned on. After a few hours it still hadn't heated up so I asked to change rooms which they were happy to arrange for me. Food options wasn't the best, had a burger and chips which was dry. In the end I left this. The lady on reception was really nice and friendly.

Very poor parking options. Limited public parking across the road and had to wait for spaces to become available when parking. Then had to carry all luggage from parking lot to hotel. Elevator out of service for our entire stay. Also, no ventilation in the room, so required to have windows open, which was right over 4 intersections and extremely noisy.

Great overnight stay.

Stayed for just one night as a treat for myself and the kids. Loved the room. And the staff were great. WiFi isn’t the best, not much signal. But other than that fantastic. Definitely stay again.

From the minute my husband and I walked in, the service and hospitality was great. The lady at the front desk (I forget her name) accommodated us with a room that had a few steps since my husband walked with a cane. The Bistro, restaurant and bar were great. I am forgetting names but thank you to all those who worked there. Thank you Paula, Stacey, Susie, Efiona, Gerard and all the others. The room you gave us was beautiful. Also a shout out to the cook for the delicious mussels, steaks, bruschetta appetizer, and breakfasts that we had. The champ was delicious too.

Horrible Stay

Not a good experience. Stayed for 2 nights over the weekend. No housekeeping ever showed up. Got back to the room at 5:00pm and noticed that. Called the front desk and he said well what do you want me to do? I said well forget changing the bed just bring fresh towels. We left for dinner and some pubs and when we got back at around midnight still no towels. I called the front desk and after many attempts with no answer someone picked up. They brought towels up around 12:30 am. Didn’t notice until I showered in the morning they only brought hand towels no bath towels! What’s wrong with this place? Oh and the music from the bar downstairs literally shook the bedroom until 2:15 am. I complained at check out and the front desk woman acted shocked. Then when I said in addition to the lack of housekeeping, the music from the bar was ridiculous. She had the nerve to say well didn’t they tell you about the music when you checked in? I said no but what would it matter anyway? It’s ridiculous. Totally don’t recommend this hotel and I want hotels.com to refund my payment.
