"Amazing boutique hotel in a great location near skiing and restaurants. The bed was very comfy, the room was perfect for our family of 4, and the breakfast was delicious - you just pick whatever you want off the cafe menu. "
"Friendly staff, we arrived very late on the first night, they arranged snow mobile to pick us from the carpark and checked us in quickly. The outdoor private hot tub is just what you need after a day of skiing! "

However we came during early ski season, there is barely any restaurants opens. Hotel cafe food is a bit expensive, and not much choice (mainly western). There were many different types of smells, all unpleasant, as you walk into reception, the bathroom, the hallway and your room. The pillows were made of wheat and were incredibly small and uncomfortable. The futon beds made you itchy and were quite thin.

"We felt like we were staying with family. Shiho, Masaru and the whole team were welcoming and very helpful during our stay. Breakfast and dinner were home cooked and allowed us to sample many different and delicious Japanese delicacies. Snow on our last 2 days was magical. Thank you!"

"The staff was friendly.
Upon arrival the guest gets a yukata and a key to 9 public thermal springs around the town, where he may bath freely. Note that they are extremely hot. The staff also offers a free ride to the Snow Monkey Park or Yudanaka Station in the morning."

"Plenty of parking lot. Very nice female staff member who spoke some English and provided a Yukata for our 6 year old. Large, excellent room with amazing views. Value for money. Green tea provided. Had mostly private onsen experience ie hardly anyone around for both the outdoor and indoor onsen when we visited in early April 2025. Only few minutes drive from Snow monkey carpark.
