"We were visiting family in Fosston and this was a great place for us to stay. The house had everything we needed and the owners were friendly and accommodating. We loved being met by the dog and cats across the way who were all very sweet and friendly. The yard was a great place for the kids to play and the house was in a nice quiet location just outside of town. "

"We had a great time at this little cabin! It's rustic in the sense that there is no running water but it has everything you need. Very clean campground with lots of amenities. Cabin is in it's own private area with it's own clean outhouse and water available outside. Conveniently located with Bemidji and Itasca nearby. We will be back!"

"We were lucky to find Big Timbers for our Itasca State Park weekend. The location is ideal being right across the street from the North entrance. The rooms perfect size for a small family or couple. Everything was new and clean and we had everything we needed for a great stay. We loved the ice cream and pizza from the store on site. "

"My wife and I (and our 16-year old dog) came. My wife and I wanted to see the headwaters of the Mississippi. Our dog, blind and deaf, just wanted to be with us. It is a great location, and we really enjoyed the flock of wild turkeys that visited. This was the last trip our dog took with us (we had to put him to sleep shortly after we returned home). I think of Big Timbers with fondness as the last really good memory of our time with the dog."
