"The staff was very accommodating although there were so many things that weren't in a regular Hotel like cups in the bathroom or to drink coffee with no refrigerator in the room no light by the bed so it was okay and sufficient for my needs. Importantly it was clean. What I didn't like was that all doors were open during the day you didn't need a card to get in."

"Breakfast was good, but hot part of it could use more day to day variety. Same with muffins/pastries--a little variety day to day would be more appealing. Coffee and hot drink choice was very good! Overall, the there was good combination of hot and cold breakfast food offered, and it was well stocked. No one should go away hungry! Pool was well kept and comfortable water temperature."

"Although the hotel is a bit older, it was clean, well-located, and reasonably priced, which made it a good value for our brief two-night stay in the area. My only complaint is that there was only one chair and a high bed that wasn't a good option for sitting. In a room for two people, two places to sit (other than the bed) seems like a reasonable expectation."

"What an "off-the-beaten-path" gem. Literally on the banks of Lake Erie and in the midst of welcoming eateries, diners, wineries and less than 40 minutes from Presque Isle State Park . We needed to get away from rushing and everyday tasks and Lakeview on the Lake is the place to do that. Accomodations are "eclectic camp" vibe. The hosts are present and helpful, but not hovering. Each unit has a parking spot. Be aware that the mini cabins are mini! If you ever wondered if you'd enjoy a tiny house, here is your opportunity to find out. The outdoors calls and so much to see and do on the Lakeview grounds and near-by that we were just enamored. We live 7+ hours away and expect to make the drive to stay here again. Joining other guests to enjoy the sunset, we met couples who have been getting away to Lakeview on the Lake for 20 years. This is a fabulous place to enjoy each other, Lake Erie, and Pennsylvania's natural offerings."

"This home was perfect for our needs. we enjoyed mornings and evenings on the deck and watching the lake. Though we didn't get a chance to use it, the outdoor firepit was a highlight! The home was clean and cozy with more kitchen amenities than we expected. The bedrooms were a bit small, but it is a cottage and spent most of our time outdoors or off property. We did have one rainy afternoon and appreciated the games and thoughtfulness of umbrellas if they needed. We definately will stay here again and highly reccomend to anyone who is looking for a quiet, peaceful location close to many activities. Perfect for families, girls weekend or a remote work location."

Property inside and out pristine...View of Findley Lake spectacular...Security excellent...Host remarkably caring and responsive...Home well constructed and appointed...Felt like I was staying at a friend's place rather than renting from a stranger...Kitchen perfect with many unexpected support food items...Best rental property we've ever had!"
