"I was issued an upgrade, however when I arrived at my upgraded hotel they made it a whole thing and tried to say I wasn’t upgraded- and that I would have to pay and it was a scam. After speaking to the GM about it- I had been upgraded and they undid it on my arrival. Staff at Santa Monica hotel made our stay great- but the staff at their sister hotel ocean view were awful to us. "

"Hotel itself is outdated but rooms were fine. WiFi was glitchy and tv has no available steaming services just cable. Walls are paper thin and you can practically hear the conversations of the rooms next door. As well as the rooms above we had a hard time sleeping becase the people above us were stomping around all night. Location is one of the only perks of the hotel. "

"The staff at the hotel were so kind and clean and nice. The hotel was also quiet. It was close to the sea and close to the shopping center. I am willing to visit again. "

"Staff is fantastic, parking is limited, but free. Absolutely worth it. The bed (queen) was a little more taco...sinks in the middle...probably needs a mattress update. It may be dated, but they have done a great job updating and keeping it clean and comfortable. "
