"Place is beautiful. Great ocean view with sunsets. Centrally located very near beaches and close to hawi and waimea towns. Close to great restaurants. Outstanding hosts who even provide snacks at check in. Peaceful and quiet neighborhood. We will definitely stay here again."

"A very convenient location for staying in Waimea-- there are two supermarkets and one health store across near by. Several restaurants/coffee shops within a mile and a lovely 1 mile (2 mile round trip) nature path across the street. It is a bit of a drive to Kona or Hilo but still accessible. Email the hotel with your information (email address) even if you intend to check in before 4 PM (flight delays etc) so they can email you with how to check in after hours. Staff were friendly in person and on the phone. In addition to a coffee maker, my standard room had a mini fridge which allowed me to store snacks/produce w/o fear of spoilage or pests."

"Beautiful home and surroundings. Absolutely peaceful. No traffic, leaf blowers, loud neighbors, barking dogs. Sitting on the porch watching the sunset and the owners cool animals. Great place to relax and get some rest. Plenty to do close by. One of the best vrbo’s we have stayed in. Even comes with a decent guitar and a very nice bass ukulele. Thanks to the owners for making this availability."

"Six women - grandmother, 2 daughters. three 30-something granddaughters spent a week in this spacious open-to- the-world house. Walk out from first floor bedroom onto deck of infinity pool, edge often lined with colorful birds drinking and bathing. Better still, down 8 steps, across a patch of grass onto beach and into the sea, home to local turtles. No problem here for 90 year old with bad knees. Four big bedrooms, tv room makes adequate bedroom for kids or adult who wants to be outside all day anyway. House front opens almost completely to the ocean and we never closed those big shutters, night nor day in mid April. Owners keep bugs away for the most part by spraying when we weren't there. Current concierge Nathalie a gem of helpfulness. We splurged extra on chef Rio for 4 nights of sunset drinks on beach and candlelit dinners on porch. Could we nit-pick things like a deck too hot to navigate without shoes? We weren't looking for 5 star elegance; we wanted and GOT a 5 star experience!"

Its quiet and clean, the lack of standard services offered by similar establishments is offset by the availability of services such as resturants, shops, groceries, gas stations, etc, all within walking distance.
