Would recommend getting a day ticket for the open air sight seeing bus - 3 routes and ideal if you don't have a lot of time and want to get an overview of the city. There is a stop outside the nearby El Corte Ingles - book online or pay on the bus.

Love Malaga. It has everything...great climate, even during January. It has fantastic history & historical sites & museums. The shopping is really good, & there is an abundance of cafes, bars, restaurants. There is the beach also. Will visit again!

Málaga has it all! Beautiful historic buildings, great pedestrianised old town with lovely shops & places to eat. Nice marina with restaurants and bars where you can while away a few hours watching boats come & go and a beach in walking distance.

Fun public beach area in walking distance. Excellent dining in El Centro, especially Arab restaurants and Andalusian regional cuisine. Tapas bars and diverse fun bar and cafes. Beautiful pedestrian zone in Centro Historico especially at night!

Great city. Old town is wonderful to roam around. I didn't do any of the museums as the didn't appeal to me personally. Did Alcazaba & the Gibralfaro Castle, quite a climb to the entrance of the latter. Casa Lola & El Pimpi with a visit.

Malaga city was such a surprise with all its history and little alleyways to explore. You won't be at a loss to find somewhere to eat and drink, at extremely reasonable prices and excellent food and wine! We loved it!

Malaga is a great city and has done a lot in order to provide great experiences and culture. There is a reason this city is getting so popular as a vacation destination and is a must stop and stay location in Spain.
"It's not a 'budget' hotel but you certainly get what you pay for.
The location is perfect, the hotel is very close to, well, everything in that area of Málaga.
Taxi, one minute walk, bus one minute walk, Paseo de los Curas, two minutes, the main shopping area, two minutes walk, the Alcazaba, maybe that was three minutes walk!
There's probably more restaurants within walking distance than you could explore eating five meals a day for six months!
The hotel, well excellent probably covers it nicely.
Room was large, clean, well furnished and had good views over the neighbourhood.
The only negative thing I could possibly say is about the pool, which we did not plan to use anyway.
We went to the rooftop bar which, given the weather and location was quite busy with a great atmosphere.
But there's the pool, surrounded by all the bar guests.
It's not a large pool but if you're going to use it you're well and truly going to be on 'public display' for all the other guests!
If 'doing laps' in your hotel pool is important for you this probably isn't the best hotel for you.
If you don't have the need to do pool laps this is absolutely the hotel you should be staying in when you visit Málaga! "
