Lodges in Malawi

"Woodlands Lilongwe is a welcoming retreat amongst a nature reserve close to the centre of Lilongwe. Staff are exceptionally proficient and hospitable; the room is spacious, clean and has good amenities. The restaurant has an extensive, tasty menu with local produce often used, and service is fast and friendly. Thank you for a pleasant stay during my business trip"

"What a wonderful property not only is the property immaculate, it’s located in a very nice area which is in walking distance of all amenities. The truth I was sad to leave and would have loved to stay longer. Bonifant lodge is the perfect place to rest and stay."

"Lovely pool and grounds. Very nice friendly ambience. "

"Beautiful place!!!"

"Place was very quiet as it was low season when we stayed. Very helpful staff, friendly atmosphere. Food simple but fine. Would stay again. Good value room, breakfast and coffee a bit overpriced"

"This is an amazing hidden gem! The name "tents" underdescribes the facilities: these are beautiful cabins that would put some hotels to shame. And the cabins have private showers and bathrooms. The facility also has a very small pool. Sandi, the owner, is caring, the food is very good, and the tours in the Park with the Park rangers are informative and a great experience. I saw a lot of animals, including elefants, monkeys, antilopes and crocodiles, but I understand that I was lucky and it...

"The hotel reception couldn't give us the room we had booked, but gave us a room without a mountain view without saying anything. When I pointed this out they said that the building with such rooms is undergoing renovations and is not ready yet. Yet the hotel had that option bookable! In other words, what wasn't there was for sale! When I demanded the price difference back they said that it wasn't possible because the hotel had to first receive payment from "Hotels.com" in order to be able to pay...

"Beautiful, quiet property. The staff were extremely accommodating. The food was delicious (I recommend the spaghetti bolognese!). It is about a 25 minute walk to downtown which wasn’t a problem for us. "

"Very pleasant as usual. Staff very friendly and accommodating."
