I like the hotel like home. Cozy and yes not so luxury but very friendly ambiance that, silent. One bus to the airport and to city and near the beach for jog or walk.

Very friendly and helpful staff! The balcony’s very small but there were two of them. Nice pool area that our kids had almost to themselves all week! A quiet hotel that had everything we needed with good distance to supermarkets, the beach, restaurants and boutiques! We could definitely come back here.

Avoid with baby. Service quality can vary

Baby cot looked liked included in the hotel page, but was 20€ / day. When I said this was expensive to the receptionist, he answered that I was very rude. There was no baby chair to sit our baby, we use his trolley for all his meals. Also, our baby was not included in our dinners. Therefore, I would not recommend to come with a baby. Nevertheless, the other members of the family were helpful. The food was good as well as the location.

Lovely family-fun hotel

Lovely family-fun hotel. The room was nice with three beds, a sink, fridge and a balcony. The shower worked fine and wifi downstairs was good. The pool was excellent, clean and with a good range of depth. The host was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good value and drinks were available from the fridges throughout.

Die Unterkunft ist ein familiengeführtes Hotel was unschlagbar in Preis Leistung ist. Die Einrichtung entspricht den Fotos, wer Luxus und Hochmodern erwartet ist hier falsch - aber was viel wichtiger ist: Die Familie ist super freundlich, hilfsbereit und kümmert sich aktiv um die Belange der Gäste. Das Essen war sehr gut und reichlich, uns hat es absolut an nichts gefehlt. Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen, es hat uns sehr gut gefallen!

Accueil sympathique, même si l'hôte nous a accueilli en maillot de bain. Piscine sympathique Qualité du petit déjeuner moyenne. Salle de bain pas terrible : pas de paroie de douche, interdiction de jeter le papier toilette dans les toilettes et mauvaise odeur ... Tres très mauvaise odeur sur les draps et les serviettes de toilette, ce qui rend la nuit "très compliquée". Fenetres qui ne ferment pas vraiment bien ...

For a trip on a budget, this was a great hotel. Staff were all welcoming and friendly, a very family atmosphere. Room was clean, bed comfy, little lounge area with kitchenette (fridge, sink and kettle), and a little terrace looking out on pool. Bathroom entertaining as the shower curtain has a mind of its own, and the bin gets used a lot.

I came here in mid February until the first week of March. First time, though I have been coming to Crete for the last 12 years. I was looking for a place from which I could move easily in the Heraklion region. I was here for business. The location is perfect as it is very close to the sea, close to the main routes of communication, and very quiete, at least in this period. In Summer of course it becomes populated, I guess, but that is good becaouse the area becomes vibrant and exciting. There many shops, there are Supermarkets near by (one of them is very famous in all Europe, even in London). Petrol stations are very frequent in this area. Although you do not see it and do not hear it, the motorway is just 3 minutes from here, and it is very convenient if you want to go here and there, especially when exploring sites in Summer, or for business reasons. Parking is very easy and just at the Hotel premises. The personnel is very nice and friendly. There is a very nice swiming pool, but I couldn't use it this time. Near here there are a lot of sites that need to be seen, do not miss them. Last, but not least, the price has been quite good. Really convenient. So, all in all, I had a very good experience at this Hotel, and I suggest it to you very much. Fabio

Wir waren jetzt das zweite Mal im Hotel Arhodiko. Ein kleines, familiengeführtes Hotel. Das Zimmer war sauber und sehr geräumig, das Frühstück in Ordnung. Zentral gelegen, idealer Ausgangspunkt, die Insel kennen zu lernen.

J.ai aimé la proximité de l’aer mais du coup c’eTait galère pour aller en bus à Heraklion. La chambre était très correcte mais la salle de bain était trop vétuste ,la base des Wc était très sale , la douche , les coins ... Géorgie qui est là en permanence ne parle que le grec . Et se moqué éperdument de la clientèle étrangère. Il a fallu 4heures de tracas pour qu’elle me donne le document de la navette stipulant l’ho De départ à 5hdu matin ......jen’aieu Ce papier qu’à 20h passé. Trop de laxisme et de négligence dans cet hotel

The property was nice and clean very spacious and nice staff, it would be more helpful if we had spoken more Greek although they were still helpful when we needed, breakfast was small but tasty and light for the morning, the shower could of been bigger and the water kept splashing outside the shower. But we were provided with a mop so this was a minor issue

Nice big n clean room, good service, we misunderstood the time of arrival n breakfast time, but all staff flexibly serve us! Cafeteria was so confortable area! Only one ting you need to know, pool is closed off season. But the ocean is close to walk in mins in the day time!

Our stay was arranged last minute but the very friendly family hotel owners were incredibly flexible and considerate when catering for our particular needs. Our room was spacious and clean. Although self-contained in terms of bar, food and swimming pool, it is only 5 minutes walk from the beach and beachside shops/restaurants. An enjoyable and memorable short stay. Homemade ice cream a speciality. Also have on sale interesting local wines, honey and oil for gifts. Only 15 minutes drive from Heraklion airport.
