"Lovely small, older hotel. Clean and comfortable, very welcoming staff with surprisingly good restaurant. The only downside is the rather bizarre location. The hotel snd adjacent train whistle stop are about all there is to the tony hamlet of Morar. The options for getting to the larger village of Mallaig (2.75 miles away) are quite limited if you don’t have your own car. You can wait for the twice a day train, take your chances with the intermittently available single car for hire, or...

"Very, very friendly staff! They had thought of everything, and were so happy to accommodate any requests. Laundry available for free, a list of nearby restauraunts and their menus, shared areas with games. You may run into other guests, or share the breakfast area with them. You can bring your own food and store it in the kitchen space, just be aware that other visitors have access to the shared kitchens. Bedroom was clean"
"Although this property is small, the people running it are big hearted.
We were driving from Isle of Skye on a very stormy day when we received message from Mark and Louisa to inform us that we could checkin earlier as they did not want us to be waiting in the storm until checkin time. We were quite touched by the gesture.
The free parking was very convenient. The room was clean and well decorated. The toilet + shower were modern and comfortable.
