"We had a lovely spacious room. The car parking was tight and the car park is small but we got a space. To be fair , it wasn't helped by some poor parking by other cars. We didn't have an evening meal at the hotel but enjoyed a really good breakfast. The lady who served us was very knowledgeable as one of us is coeliac. Everything on the buffet was clearly marked for allergens. We will definitely return. A nice welcome from the guy on Reception, a good night's sleep and a hearty delicious breakfast in a beautiful part of the Cotswolds. "

"We had such a lovely weekend at the Old Bell Hotel. The staff is so warm and friendly which definitely made our stay. The property itself is very uniquely decorated and had so much character and charm. The staff accommodated our every need and our room (we booked a junior master) was spacious, beautifully decorated and so comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone! The breakfast was also delicious! "

"An unusually configured property in a very pleasant setting on the edge of Malmesbury. Comfortable double bed, well equipped kitchen and great views from the top floor living room. NB - a number of very steep stairs to consider if you have any limitations and the attractive leather loungers shown in the promotional photos are no longer in place."

"The perfect stay! Can't recommend more;10/10. Delightful historical, cosy, comfortable cottage yet with modern features. Cottage had everything needed for a week stay. Extra touches were made with Christmas decorations to celebrate the festive season and a couple of treats were much appreciated. Best possible location for making the most of the township. John is the ultimate host with excellent communication.Will definitely stay again if we return to the West Country. John proved what a wonderful person he is as he was so gracious and accomodating when I made a hiccup with our dates. Such a delight to find this place. AAAA"

"Pleasant good sized room with ensuite and comfy bed. Downstairs the bar area looked welcoming and seemed very popular. Staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately they didn't serve breakfast but the Summer Cafe across the road was excellent. The hotel is located in the middle of Malmesbury so well positioned for exploring this delightful little town. It was also convenient for us to visit family who lived locally."
