"This cottage was easily one of the highlights of my trip to Washington. The location is absolutely beautiful. It was so quiet, peaceful, and right on the lake in a way that makes you immediately want to slow down and just enjoy being there. The cottage itself was incredibly comfortable, clean, welcoming, and thoughtfully put together. It had everything I needed, but more importantly, it actually felt like a place you could settle into rather than just somewhere you happened to be staying for a few nights. There was something really special about waking up next to the lake, enjoying the quiet in the mornings, and coming back at the end of the day to such a peaceful place. It was exactly the kind of setting I hoped to find while I was in Washington, and honestly exceeded my expectations. The hosts clearly put a lot of care into the property and into making sure their guests have a great stay. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it without hesitation to anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing lakeside getaway. An absolutely wonderful place!!"

"We were on a road trip and looking for somewhere unique to stay that wasn't a cookie-cutter interstate chain hotel. The McCleary Hotel fit the bill. It's a charmingly weird old place with lots of character. The room was comfortable, the shared bathrooms were clean, and the staff was nice. Can't ask for more than that. We spent the evening chillin' by their gas fire pit in the backyard, and appreciated the coffee and pastries in the morning. If you're looking for a luxury hotel with all the high-end amenities, look elsewhere. But if you're looking for a genuinely unique place to stay and enjoy some living history, this is your spot."
