"We were made to feel welcome at check-in and given help with directions to sightseeing in the Senja region as well as a great place to eat in nearby Finnsnes. A spacious room in fairly simple accommodation was suitable for our one night stay and the continental breakfast was good. Block-out curtains would have been nice."

"Loved the property but after we left the host tried to scam us by saying we left the place without tidying up. He wanted 1000NOK/£70. I told him we videoed the entire place showing it was spotless before we left, and he quickly told us to not worry about the 1000NOK. The place was also advertised as a 3 bedroom house yet he failed to tell us that one of the bedrooms is his private bedroom and is not to be used! I would return to Finnsnes, but never to this place."

"One of our favorite moments of our trip to Norway, the hotel was a relaxing oasis. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious, especially the breakfasts. We enjoyed our time here so much."

"Incredible pace in a spectacular natural setting, about 1.25 hours from Tromso. Our fjord front cabin was spectacular- each day and night we woke to breathtaking views ( traveled in winter.). We saw the northern lights from our multiple balconies and the large windows in our unit. Everything was beautifully appointed. It is, however in a remote area tucked amidst mountains and fjords.! If you go, note there are no stores or on premise food purchase options except the restaurant. Also, it is not possible by Norwegian ABC laws to have a social or class of wine outside of the main hotel. BYOB, snacks and other provisions from Tromso ior elsewhere! It is a perfect and magical getaway! Thank you to the resort staff for making our stay truly memorable!"

"A Magical Christmas Cabin in Malangen We had the most incredible Christmas at this cabin in Malangen—it felt like we were living inside a Christmas card! The house was absolutely perfect, with every detail thoughtfully provided. From the cozy fireplace to the luxurious sauna and jacuzzi, everything exceeded our expectations. We especially loved using the snowshoes, enjoying the firepit under the stars, and relaxing in the peaceful surroundings. The location is ideal: a supermarket is just a stone’s throw away, and a resort with an activity center—offering experiences like dog sledding—is within walking distance. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the warmth and personal care from the hosts, Arvid and Victoria. Their hospitality went above and beyond, making the experience even better than advertised. If you’re dreaming of a perfect winter escape, this cabin is the place to be. We couldn’t recommend it more!"

"Ended up arriving later than expected to find no staff at the desk (beyond the 3:30 cut-off). Front doors locked and no answer on the phone to call. Turns out there were instructions (thru expedia) for the need to call if you were to be late. Once they called back (and someone let me in to the lobby) i was able to get a key to a room. After that it was smooth sailing. I was uncertain of the area around the hotel but as my stay progressed I realized it to be busy and safe. Surrounded by malls, restaurants and a grocery nearby. Interesting things to look at near the port a couple blocks away. Overall a comfortable stay. Breakfast available each morning."

"Stunningly beautiful place to relax and if you’re lucky see the Northern Lights. Accommodation warm, comfortable, modern and bright. If you’re feeling brave (in autumn winter) try enjoying the view from external Sauna. "

"This was an amazing apartment that looked like it was newly renovated. Such a beautiful building and nice patio overlooking the water. Had a nice fridge, stove and everything you need to cook yourself. Only stayed one night but this I would highly recommend this spot."
