Scott always dreamed of having a beach house—a place to escape, relax and make great memories. When his dream finally came true, he decided to open it up for others to enjoy as well. During the renovations, Scott’s loyal dog Skye was always by his side. She loved lounging on the balcony, soaking in the ocean view and watching everyone go by. It was her little daily adventure! Now Malua Bay is Skye’s favourite place, and that’s how Skyes Beach House came to be.

Great Place To Stay For Families

Perfect accomodation for large families. Excellent location and facilities on the property. Plenty of things for kids to do and the host Scott was amazing to deal with. Will definitely be coming back.

Awesome place, had everything we needed and more.

My family and I, grandparents, parents, teenagers and little kids all had a great stay. Facilities were great, with lots of special touches, like the sauna and jacuzzi, and games room and an endless supply of wood for the fireplace. We used the bbq every day, and my brothers were even tempted to use the smoker. Perfect location, shops, beach and playground literally across the road. Scott was super helpful and responsive. Would highly recommend.

Good place for a group of family

We enjoyed four days stayed at the sky beach house , the house enough to accommodated and activities us include, the rooms, kitchen, lounge room, game room , playground for the kids and nice back yard with bbq area. Super market cross the road and 2 minutes walk to the beach and 15 minutes drive to Batman bay.

Great house n great location

Had a wonderful time catching up with old friends. The house is in a top spot very wall appointed and beds are comfie. Scott the hose was very prompt with responses to messages and instruction clear and east to follow. Some how he was even able to keep the rain away for us which was appreciated. I highly recommend staying here any time of the year.

Great option for large family accommodation

Our entire family had a great week at Skyes house. 15 of us in total! Loved the smoker and we cooked up a brisket feast one night which we bought from the very convenient butcher across the road. Scott was quick to respond to any queries and was very helpful.

Overall an adequate experience. Lots of road noise is a distraction. Plenty of additions like bikes and play room with snooker/air ball etc is a bonus. Bar B Que needs a solid hotplate option. Loved the fire pit it was a great communal gathering point. A bit more attention to detail e.g. wine glasses and secure toilet seats would have resulted in a better experience. Overall a satisfactory experience. Value for money???

Amazing family getaway

We had an amazing family getaway at this coastal retreat! The new spa and sauna addition were a total highlight — such a relaxing touch that made the whole stay feel like a proper escape. The newly added games room was a huge win for everyone — the pinball machine and Daytona setup kept both the kids and adults entertained for hours. It really added an extra layer of fun to the trip and meant there was always something to do, even on a rainy afternoon. The location is fantastic — just a short walk to the local beach, which made beach visits super convenient and stress-free. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Highly recommend for families or groups looking for a fun and relaxing coastal break. We'd absolutely love to come back!
