Seasonal Road Closure Notice: HWY 120 (Tioga Pass) generally closes for the winter from late October through late June. This was a fantastic stay! When we arrived to check in, the front desk staff gave us a very clear, very friendly detailed explanation. They have their own snowplows clearing the parking lot. And you can borrow shovels at the front desk.

I come to Mammoth all the time for the mammoth rocks Festival but I had never stayed here. It sure was nice being able to walk across the street. Friendly staff and really cool rooms.

What a great place to stay! We had a spacious room, a comfy bed, and access to the Village and lots of dining options. The best part of all was the Mammoth Gran Fondo start line was across the street. Easy to start and close after the finish.

I had the perfect day at this establishment. The staff is super friendly and the rooms are very comfortable! They have a nice hot tub and pool. The rooms have a fridge and a coffee maker. The microwave is shared in the lowest floor.

I stayed for five days. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly. Plenty of parking for my Jeep and kayak trailer. The best thing about this hotel is its location. Very walkable to attractions. I would highly recommend the Alpenhof

Out dated hotel. Do not get a bottom floor level room. You can hear everything from the person staying above you. Room smelled musty. Staff was nice. On site bar is cute with old ski lodge feel. Close to everything. Can walk to multiple restaurants including the village
