"Very nice hotel and spa with an excellent riverside location. The grounds are very nice and the rooms have excellent views of the Duoro river. The rooms and bathrooms are good and the breakfast was very good. The reception, bar and restaurant staff were very helpful and worked hard. The restaurant was OK but not exceptional. Overall, an excellent hotel."

"Beautiful escapist property with a modern design settled amidst the vineyard. Excellent food. Beware however this property is one hour outside the "heart of Douro Valley" and the majority of wineries."
