"The chalet is located in a smalll hamlet, at the end of a stony road. It is well equipped and had all we needed for our short stay. It is full of 'souvenirs', objects, books, pictures, which gives it a very homelike feeling. We enjoyed the outside terrace with its table and bbq, as well as the outside sofa. "When we arrived at the property, Carmen and her lovely dogs welcomed us with open arms. It's located about 30 minutes from Porto and if you seek for peace and quit it's the best place to stay. "The house is furnished with old fashioned fourniture and equipment. A complete update as well inside as outside is necessairy. The rent for this house is nog in relation with the quality. "

"We had a fabulous time at casa do Monte! The villa is perfect for large families, well equipped and the grounds are beautiful. Marcus was very accommodating and even arranged for us to have a traditional Portuguese BBQ. I highly recommend this villa."
