Cozy private apartment with winter views of Mt Equinox

Beautifully detailed separate and private 2nd floor living space on the grounds of a 2 acre 1890's farmhouse. In season, enjoy morning coffee on the large deck overlooking the perennial garden or sit and read a book by the river. In winter take in the beautiful open view of Mt. Equinox. Walk to the center of town for shopping and dining in 10 minutes (0.8 miles). Bromley is 12 minutes away and Stratton is a 22 minute drive. We are nearby and are usually available if needed.
The living quarters offer 875 square feet of living space. Handcrafted kitchen cabinets, granite countertop, and stainless steel appliances adorn the kitchen. The master bedroom features hand designed and painted furniture with a queen size Tempur-Pedic mattress. There is a futon (with full size mattress) in the living room for an older child or third adult guest. Perfect for a romantic getaway, holiday retreat or ski vacation. Available for rent by the week, month or season. Housekeeping can be arranged by request.

Really enjoyed this place. Fully equipped kitchen despite its small size; can't think of anything else I might have wanted that wasn't already there. Although slightly away from Manchester's center, my wife and I easily walked to everything we did in town; and the location actually helped us when we headed to Peru, Landgrove and Weston. Strongly recommend this very nice stay!

Cute place close to town and horse show

We stayed here while showing at Vermont festival. Only 10 min to show and close to all restaurants and shops. Place was clean and quiet. We only used it for showers and sleeping.

A great apartment close to the heart of town. We enjoyed walking to town for coffee. The apartment had everything we needed to make breakfast and a light dinner. Clean and cozy...perfect for a weekend getaway.

Perfect stay in Manchester

This home is located perfectly very near all the shops and restaurants in Manchester. The unit is very quiet and there are no shared walls with others. The unit is extremely clean and well stocked with amenities like shampoo and body wash as well as kitchen supplies such as tea, coffee and condiments. Would definitely book again if in the area.

Great, quiet and convenient

Property was spotless and as advertised. More space than I needed for sure. Temps outside were below zero, yet place was warm and cozy. Walking distance to town yet far enough away for peace and quiet. Easy drive to East Dorset for a retreat I attended.

Super cute!

We loved this little apartment, it was spotless and cozy! It was very close to town and easy to get in and out of with a code. My only suggestion to the owners would be to put some soap in the shower and maybe a little side table at one of the sofas to make it easier to put a drink or cup of coffee on. But other than that, it was wonderful!

Great place!

First time traveling East & we picked a perfect spot to stay. Plenty of room for myself & husband. Great kitchen & kitchen ware for meals. We especially enjoyed the deck outside. Good location to town, that we walked & explored around town. Bed was comfortable as well as having plenty of seating room. Easy check in process & communication.

Manchester magic

The carriage house apartment was spacious, well equipped, brightly decorated and meticulously clean. Close to the village it was still quiet and private. It is an excellent choice for a Manchester stay.

A gem!

Sunny, bright, clean apartment with everything we needed. Loved the sound of the river behind the apartment, loved how spacious the space was, and the proximity to town(walkable).We had everything we needed there to cook a meal when we arrived. The weather was unexpectedly warm when we arrived and the host offered to install the AC’s the next day but with a fan in the window we slept comfortably. Truly a lovely space! I’ve stayed in a lot of VRBO’s and this is one of the best.

The property is perfect for a short stay in beautiful Manchester, VT. The location is ideal, private and quiet and the apartment is spacious, super comfortable, clean and has everything you could possibly need. My favorite place to stay in Manchester, VT!

I’ve stayed at Sean and Linda’s place twice this winter when I skied at Stratton. Their place is always very clean, well stocked, and on a beautiful piece of land over looking the river. Check-in and out is always a breeze because they provide you the door code ahead of time. Communication with Sean and Linda is always great, they are very nice. I highly recommend staying here!

Manchester get away

We usually stay at the Equinox hotel when we visit Manchester but chose VRBO this trip. Apartment was perfect! We did some snow shoeing & fat biking and a bit of shopping too. A lovely week!

Spectacular

I can easily say "ditto" to all the reviews I read before booking this property. It was ideal location wise. The apartment was beautiful. As others have said, it's very homey. Spacious enough for two. It was clean and comfortable in every way. I would recommend it and I hope to return again next year.

Wonderful!

This apartment is a gem! Peaceful setting in a great location, beautiful grounds, and lovely living space with everything you need. The deck is perfect. We were able to have dinner outside overlooking the gardens, woods and a creek. While the owners respected our privacy, they were very attentive to any question or concern. We hope to stay here again!

Beautiful spot

Great location, you can walk to shops. The apartment itself was beautiful and well taken care of. The owner even left a happy birthday balloon for my mom - very thoughtful! Would highly recommend.

Perfectly met our needs

The two of us wanted a comfortable place in the Manchester area from which to hike, shop, eat, etc. This property was perfect. It was close to restaurants and near routes to other sites. We were able to cook light meals, saving ourselves the cost and hassle of eating out all the time. When a storm blew a fuse, Sean solved the problem in short order. The unit was spacious, with places for us to catch up on our computers and fix a puzzle. Highly recommend.
