Not okay for the amount of money we paid
After our arrival, we immediately contacted your customer services due to the fact that the toilet in the main bathroom didn't flush. We were told someone would be sent as soon as possible to fix the problem. However, nobody showed up, and we could only use the toilet in the ensuit bathroom. When we arrived, the dishwasher was filled with dirty dishes. When we opened the freezer department, it turned out it was completely frozen over and couldn't be properly closed. Therefore we have not been able to use it during our entire stay. The doorpost, of the bedroom with the ensuit bathroom is barely attached to the wall, this was already the case when we first arrived. While the toilet in the ensuit bathroom worked, the shower did not, as it did not drain properly. Because of this, we all had to share the toilet in the one bathroom, while needing to share the shower in the other bathroom. This was especially problematic since one of us is suffering with a severe bladder infection, which had been said during our initial phone call. Apparently this wasn't enough of a priority though? The apartment was rather filthy, with random toys found which we assume have been left by the previous guests. That would at least explain all the stains on the walls and the pillows. We will be leaving the toys in the apartment when we leave tomorrow. In addition to all this, the garage door has been broken, as well as the door in the garage into the apartment building not closing properly for our entire stay, meaning anybody could just walk into the building without a key.
For the amount of money we have paid for our stay, we felt that we could have expected more, especially after having called immediately on our arrival, since having to share the toilet in the ensuit was rather inconvenient because someone was sleeping in the room. Even though we were promised it would be fixed, and having stated the importance, we were ignored.
Our stay could have been a lot better, especially since we were blatantly ignored. Therefore, we feel we are entitled to some form of compensation, and not in the form of a voucher for a future stay because we have lost the confidence in your services. Which really is a shame, since it could have a lot of potential.
I do hope this time our complaints are taken serious, but at this point, given this experience, we highly doubt this.
