"We spent our last two nights here of our eight night road trip of Northland. It was so idyllic that we spent the second (and last) day staying local to McLeod Bay rather than going back to Whangārei township. This is a true bach with lots of little extras. Very peaceful and comfortable. Eateries close by. Stunning scenery. Would be a great place for families to holiday (we are an older couple). "

"Not enough wine glasses for 8 pax, we bought 4 and left in cupboard to share. Coffee machine does not have the correct basket in coffee holder to brew the coffee. coffee grinds were very hard to get out to make next one which made a hell of a mess. We wasted a lot of the coffee. If you put the correct basket in it will make a nice coffee."
