Why take my reservation????????
Showed up to check in and motel had gone out of business. Had to scramble to find a room at another hotel.

Out of Business...
When I got to the motel they were closed, out of business, closed. I have stayed there before so I wasn't expecting any complications. I had reservations since November. I wasn't notified that they had closed their doors for good until I got there. I would thing that they would need to contact people with reservations, because like me, I got to town without money for another hotel, since I had already paid for a room at Motel 6.

Really nice motel for the price you pay
We stayed here for a football game. Great place if you just want to use it to sleep there. It's about a 15 minute talk to Aggieville, which was fine because then we didn't need a DD or an uber.

Zero stars - filthy and roach infested
Shortly after check in, starting see roaches. Killed dozen in 5 min. They were on walls, floor, beds, desk, everywhere. Front desk gave refund and new room. That room had been used. Soap, towels used. Beds had been made, but sheets were dirty. Front desk gave 3rd room. That one also dirty. Beds had been made, but sheets had dirt, makeup and food on them. Floors had not been cleaned in any of the rooms, dust and debris from at least several weeks. This hotel is overpriced for what it is, but especially on game day - like price goughing. I have stayed here before but it is now filthy and I won't stay again. Owner should fire management for not checking cleaning staff. If owner is manager, then health department needs to step in. Only good part was night clerk - this was not her fault. We left after 1:00 in the morning with no place to stay.

Got less than I paid for
I don't expect much out of the cheaper motels, but this was disappointing. First and foremost, my room was dirty - gum stuck all over the floor, stains of urine or *something* on the toilet seat - so clearly no one had really cleaned. Less dramatic but still irritating and indicative of bad service or management or something, was the room service. As I was staying a few nights, I requested no linen refreshes during the stay - I wasn't using enough to warrant that, and I don't like having people go through my room when I'm not there. Despite getting it marked down that there shouldn't be any service to the room, someone still came in. Not the biggest deal, but it just solidified my observation that the service staff are not doing their jobs properly. WiFi service was also exceedingly slow (and it's not free, you pay extra for internet). All in all, I will not be returning. Just a very disappointing stay and the value I received was not worth the savings.

Great for a quick night of sleep
This motel is great for a quick night of rest if you are just passing through town or staying for a K-State football game. No, its nothing extraordinary, but if all you are looking for is a bed for a few hours of rest than it will do the job just fine.

First and last time at a Motel 6
I booked my room through Expedia for one night at the price of $98.85. Upon check in I was told that the rate was $111.30 and I would have to contact Expedia. At that point, I had no other choice than to stay at this hotel. I made this reservation in June when there were no other options for hotels/motels on this date. I was on a waiting list at another hotel that I had stayed at in Manhattan. When they called me a few days before the event, I turned down the room they had available which was going to be $269 a night. I thought, how bad could it be at Motel 6. It was not long before I regretted not taking the other room for $269. I still don't know why my room cost more than what I booked with Expedia.
