If you're looking to soak up the sun at Lake Michigan, you are just a few minutes away. Take a short 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive to Orchard Beach Outlet where you will find a small public beach along the shoreline of Lake Michigan. As a second option you can visit First Street Beach, USA Today's 10Best Readers Choice Best Beach in Michigan which is a 10 minute drive from the home.

If you're looking to explore the area Manistee's Historic Downtown Area on River Street offers many quaint shops and restaurants positioned along the Riverwalk. Onekama also offers a small variety of the same.
