Amazing Property

We came for a family vacation, the location was amazing with lake views from home, within short walking distance to all local attractions and dog park. Quiet street with great neighbors. Beautiful scenery around property with privacy. Host was quick at responding when needed and incredibly accomodating. Would definitely stay here again!

Prairie Duck Hunt

The property worked great for 4 adults to stay and waterfowl hunt in the area. 3 beds we’re comfortable, the pullout couch left a lot to be desired. Thin mattress and not great for an adult. The host was great with communication and description of property.

Beautiful Cottage

This is a gorgeous cottage. The furnishings, appliances, and decor were perfect. Tons of windows for natural light. The beds were comfy and there is plenty of hot water. We didn’t want to leave!! This home is a perfect mix of cottage and spa. Check-in was no hassle and the owners were so easy and pleasant. We would recommend this rental for families or anyone!! It is conveniently located about 2 blocks from the spa, the beach, and the store. We will be renting this place again!!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this VRBO! The home was incredibly spacious, offering plenty of room for our family of five to relax comfortably throughout. The living areas were bright, open, and cozy—perfect for evenings together. We found the furnishings exceptionally comfortable, making downtime truly relaxing for both adults and kids.The location was perfect—we were just minutes from everything we needed, from restaurants and shops to local attractions. It made our stay so convenient and stress-free. We especially loved the warm and inviting ambiance throughout—it felt like a true home away from home.Whether it was cooking meals in the well-equipped kitchen, enjoying family game time in the living room, or simply unwinding in the bedrooms, everything worked beautifully for our family. John and Christine's house was absolutely beautifully decorated, spacious,clean . Every concievable kitchen item you could want or need. Even had spices. Master bedroom and ensuite were very large and had a deck off of it with a great view of the lake, iced over when we were there. Only thing I could possibly suggest would be a coffee bar upstairs to enjoy the view on the deck before you start the day. Second deck on main level was spacious and had nice patio seating and a bbq to enjoy. We were here in April so didnt get the opportunity to enjoy that but John left clear instruction for gas lever.The main bathroom had a gorgeous rainhead walkin shower and had a connecting door to 2nd bedroom with queen size bed. Just down the hall was the 3rd bedroom with a double bed again uniquely decorated. Across the hall was the back porch and an exit leading to the backyard with firepit and chairs. We had a person in a wheelchair so we had to use this entrance once we lifted her up 4 steps onto the 1st deck , little tricky to safely navigate. Not advisable to rent this home if mobility challenged. Only due to the steeper stairs. John made this as easy as possible by having his handyman Ken come first thing in the morning to shovel the pathway. We had about 2 ft of snow in a 24 hr period so this was beyond appreciated and Ken did a fabulous job. Communication was exceptional, wifi provided in a convenient spot by the thermostat. Under this was a very cute pet basket of pet essentials

It rained for most of our stay, and I think if the cottage wasn’t as comfortable and welcoming as it was, it would have ruined the vacation for us. But because it was so nice, it was fine to wait for the rain to slow, go out, do what we wanted, and then come back when the rain got heavy again. Would absolutely rent again, and do intend to do so.

Gem in Manitou

Very nice cabin close to all the activity in Manitou. This cabin is nicely decorated, very spacious and well stocked! Just bring your food and clothes. Host was very easy to communicate with.
