"Unwashed cup in the room and empty shampoo dispencer. Pool closed for this "spa weakend." Hotel unable to provide a cooked breakfast and reluctant to offer a rebate. Premises dirty and staff surly. Bar service poor and prolonged delays in the dining room in spite of pre-ordered food. Far from the expected standard of a 4star establishment"

"The location was the plus point for me. Only stayed the one night. The room was clean and tidy. A bit too warm for me no air-con or fan. Asked for shower tray but all are showers over baths. Did not have breakfast this trip but on-site food is a positive. The price was very competitive. Overall 4 out of 5."

"This was our second stay there, on the first stay had no complaints at all. This time not so good Not really made to feel welcome and some of the staff were not friendly at all. The bedroom was like a sauna, unable to open window properly, and only one fan which didn’t do much at all, so no sleep for 3 nights. ( No aircon) Bars Restaurant all very nice but let down at breakfast by the dirty cups, jugs and teapots. We don’t go away very often and was very disappointed this time, hence won’t be...
