"Room & entire premises extremely cold. Central radiators were off. She turned on the AC in the room and set it to cool to 73ºF, but the room was in the 50's. I figured out how to reset it and left for dinner. We returned to no electricity. We had to negotiate a candle. Room was extremely small, only 2 ft on each side of a double bed, which was lumpy. No place for suitcases. She suggested we open them in the car and take in what we needed. Bathroom was clean, but small with no room to put...

"A lovely family run hotel both clean and comfortable with a lovely pool and a small bar where you can sit on the terrace under grapevines and look at the beautiful view. The hotel restaurant is extremely good and parking and breakfast are free. I thoroughly recommend this hotel and will be back."

"The room is small. No AC. Limited outside light. The bed is not confortable. Breakfast is a cold breakfast. Good. Some eggs would be nice as most of the visitors are there to do hiking Nice pool. Access to a fridge. Take note that if you pay on site, they don’t take credit. Only cash. This was not mentioned when I booked on Expedia. The staff are very nice. "

"Modern hotel with wonderful views of Manteigas. Room was rather sparsely equipped and had no fridge or safe. No restaurant on site at present but due to open soon. Nearest restaurant is a good half mile away.Staff very friendly, good breakfast included. "

"First impressions are everything and the lovely staff gave us a very warm welcome complete with a glass of port, as well as a tour of the property upon arrival. The spa was very clean and zen, and our panarama suite had a lovely Mountain View. We dined in Fatiga, the restaurant on property and it was fantastic!! The food, service and ambiance were perfection!"
