Whether you’re looking to accommodate a large family or you just want more than your vacation “cottage”, Summer Haven offers many qualities sure to please the whole family.

Included in this four bedroom home are 2 full baths, bright and airy kitchen with a dishwasher, and separate dining and living areas. An enclosed porch along the lakeside of the house is a wonderful addition to the amenities, along with the private deck in the back and the 4.8 acres you have all to yourself. The master bedroom is on the first floor and features a sleigh style queen bed. Two twin beds are in the second room. Two other bedrooms upstairs along with full bath and Jacuzzi tub.

Across the road sits a picturesque scene with 100 feet of frontage on Little Traverse Lake, with enough space for family picnics and recreational activities. The screened in cabana is freshly remodeled to match the house. They have a 14 ft row boat and a new 16 ft canoe to enjoy on the lake!

Sister/Niece Weekend

We chose this property because of the number of twin beds. We had 7 ladies in our group. Some of the rooms were small, but we made do. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate for outdoor activities. Location is central to all places in the Leelanau Peninsula.

Maple City

Property was recently and nicely redone including furniture, mattresses etc… Everything was updated and in nice condition. The only 2 gripes I had was the floors could have been a little cleaner it seemed like they needed mopped. We had babies crawling on them on. And the jacuzzi tub had no switch to turn it on so basically jacuzzi didn’t work. Overall I would recommend it it was basically clean and the canoe and kayaks were a great addition.

Excellent location for dunes and surroundings.

Comfortable space, clean. Lake is not viewable from the property in the summer except from the upstairs. We did use the canoe to explore the lake which has lovely crystal clear water, but wasn’t swimmable due to reeds (and, well the cooler weather). WiFi worked for our work from vacation needs. Carpet in dining area hard to keep clean especially with kids. Our kids enjoyed having lots of outdoor space to run around in. Location amazing with two close places to eat and short drive to the dunes, art galleries, and little towns.
