10/10 Excellent
"This place exceeded our expectations. I spent a lot of time looking for the perfect place, which for us, is seclusion, and it more than delivered. Not another soul in sight the entire time. Just lots of cows that were quite enjoyable. Our 20 pound dog chased a few down the hill one day. We didn’t enjoy the fire pit like we would have liked due to on and off rain and thunderstorms, but we were treated to a rainbow every evening of our stay. And you can’t beat some great storms while staying in a cabin. The best part of the stay was just hanging on the front porch all day enjoying our surroundings. It was one of the best cabins we have stayed in and my only complaint is that we had to leave. Steve was a great host and we appreciate him opening up this treasure for others to enjoy. "
"This hotel is amazing. Everything is first class quality. Beautiful and historic place with lots to see and do on the grounds of the hotel and also in town."
"It was a nice experience, but there's a disturbing smell in the rooms. There's an open buffet for dinner, but we can't help ourselves. And when we ask for a second, they give us half a portion. This isn't nice at all; I should be able to have as much as I want. I didn't find the service you provided at all adequate for the price I paid. I don't plan on coming back. At a place that costs $340 per night, you charged $443 for the second day, and we didn't get anything extra, which is completely unethical. There's no advantage to be had other than being alone with nature. I can only say that we enjoyed it because we love ping-pong and we really appreciated the open space."
"What an absolutely beautiful property! Caught fish in the lake and ponds. Saw eagles at the pond by the pavilion and lots of deer. The pig was a big highlight! The whole group seemed pretty content just sitting on the porch and soaking up the mountain views. Thank you again for sharing your beautiful home with us, everyone really enjoyed themselves!!"
You can browse the exhibits at Cass Railroad Museum, a museum with a story of its own, during your trip to Cass. Discover the area's mountain views and seek out the snowshoeing.
