Room was large, but sparsely and dated outfitted. The owner of the hotel appears to be very controlling - front desk controlled your room temperature, breakfast was spooned out by staff, wifi codes were given out individually. Very old limited wifi setup in lobby only made it totally unusable in your room. Bed was extremely firm for me so I did not sleep well. We have been travelling in Italy for a month now and this was by far the worst breakfast we have had - assortment was limited, everything was cold, the worst coffee in all of Italy. Could not leave this property fast enough.

Positive: Stayed for 4 nights July 2023. Wonderful find! Traditional 3 star hotel with pool, restaurant and free private parking. Although a little dated for today's modern taste; the hotel is very clean throughout; has a lovely pool in a beautiful setting; very good Italian food served in the restaurant and good choice for breakfast. Staff very polite, professional and welcoming. Out stay was very enjoyable and would highly recommend this hotel. Negatives: no tea/coffee/kettle in the room so bring your own travel kettle if you are an avid tea/coffee drinker! Need a car to appreciate this beautiful area. .

What you see on photos and what you get on reality are not the same very outdated "hotel" not comfortable room lots of noise from people that stayed above our room around 1 AM music sounds /TV, and hearing every sound, water pressure in bathroom were very low we asked for technician he basically did nothing couldn't take proper shower, breakfast is being monitored by the same technician - that gives you the feeling that you can't take more food or beverage, monitoring the employees as well. Glad that we stayed one night. if you still go there make sure that water pressure is fine and not to sleep on the first floor.

Should be renamed Borgia La Tana

This hotel doesn't like guests! The staff were surly and unhelpful. Example 1: Swimming in the pool, being yelled at by the staff and told to get out - the rules say that you can't swim unless you are wearing a rubber skullcap (circa 1950) - both men and women! Not owning one of these means you can't swim, which was exactly what was happening - see the photo. The hotel was full, but no-one was swimming. I had to go to a local beach. Example 2: the 'fully stocked bar fridge' contained exactly 4 small bottles not what was listed. See photo. The notice said that putting anything else in the fridge would 'force' them to come up and charge you euros 5.20 and turn the fridge off. See photo. Example 3: Restaurant: couldn't get a booking before 9PM, and the first course didn't arrive until 10:15PM. The second course came about 2 minutes later, so had to be put somewhere warm, then they mislaid one of them, so one had to be eaten while they tracked down the other. Example 4: asking at breakfast (which, BTW, is not recommended) for a cup of hot milk, was given cold - I said I asked for warm, was told it WAS warm so I demonstrated it wasn't by putting my finger in it. Was told they couldn't do warm, so I pointed out the button that said warm milk, so she ungraciously deigned to press it. Example 5: the Bar is not open until mid-July. No coffee tea in room. There's lots more - but the bottom line: avoid this place. I was SOOO glad to leave.
This is the pool. No-one swimming as the person under the umbrella tells them to get out if they dont have a 'bathing cap'.

Heel leuk en schoon hotel; bijzondere lay-out. Hotel is gelegen op 3 niveaus en heeft geen lift; dus sjouwen geblazen met de koffers. Kamers zijn krap; houdt niet over; schuifdeur naar badkamer (draaideur zou net passen). Storend: Onze kamer had geen enkele Europees stopcontact met randaarde en daarom geen aansluitingen voor onze waterkoker en/of onze laptop. Stekkers met dunne pootjes (b.v. mobiele telefoon) passen wel. Zweembad gaat pas op 16 mei open; jammer. Airco werkte niet; blijkt deze pas vanaf 02 juni geactiveerd te worden... Toch een leuk hotel aan een rustige straat.
