There are several other hotel options. We ended up at the La Quinta which was terrific. The city is nice and has a variety of places to eat and is a beautiful hill country spot otherwise.

I would not have a problem staying there again. I am not about high cost and lots of frills. Just a clean room. hot water, cold a/c, and lots of parking.. We were able to walk to dinner. Lots of eats in the immediate area.
" Beautiful home! Plenty of room for family to enjoy their own private area and spend it together in the open area living/kitchen area. We enjoyed the large yard, fire pit and private dock and access to river. The house is stocked with Plenty of games for all ages. We enjoyed spending time together playing corn hole, connect four, and jenga! Teen kids enjoyed the porch River and views. Kitchen is very well stocked with houseware/cooking supplies. "
