They were extremely welcoming and gave us several ‘tastes of Normandy’.Their gîte is is a beautiful building, formerly the bakery, restored to an extremely high standard! "A truly delightful house with a lot of French charm. Large kitchen, living room with fireplace and pool table, 3 bathrooms and a ton of bedrooms. A nice garden area in the back for relaxing. The home is pretty old but has been beautifully renovated. Catherine, the owner, lives next door and has 2 friendly dogs as well as ducks and chicken. Catherine was friendly and answered all questions quickly. Highly recommend!"

"This was perfect for a family holiday. The house is clean, spacious and very well equipped for those who want to cook and eat in-house. The garden is lovely, with lots of space and with different areas to sit out. The gite is about a 10 minute walk from Carentan, or a few minutes in the car. Carentan is about 60 minutes easy driving from Caen. Our host, Mme Haubois, was very welcoming and gave us some good ideas on where to eat and visit, and sorted out a minor issue with the washing machine very quickly. I can highly recommend this gite for a family holiday!."
