"We stayed at the house for a week with a group of 9 friends. The house itself was great! We were kindly welcomed by Jean Pierre who gave us some great tips on what to do in the area. The ruins of Donzy are nice to visit, and the hilly region is beautiful to walk through. Otherwise there is little to do for tourists in Panissières itself, it's just a regular French village. Luckily there are large cities (Lyon and Saint-Etienne) within a one hour drive. The same goes for the Beaujolais wine...

Il est possible d'y séjourner avec une grande famille tout en conservant une intimité. "We had a wonderful stay at this holiday rental (1 year old) just outside Lyon. The property was spotlessly clean, very spacious, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed — from kitchen essentials to extra linens and toiletries. It felt like a true home away from home. The house is modern and equipped with AC units in every single room. "Dejligt hus, lækker pool med dejlig terrasse. God mulighed for at lave mad og meget veludstyret køkken. Vi manglede dog grydelapper. Der er 4 værelser, 2 badeværelser og 1 toilet på 1.sal og 1 toilet i stue plan. Der var store badehåndklæder, men ikke små håndklæder, viskestykker og karklude- dette havde vi heldigvis selv med. "This ticked all the boxes for what we wanted: big garden, private pool, lots of space and near Lyon Old Town. But the property is much more tired than the photos give away, and I don't recall the listing saying that the garden backed onto a busy main road so the garden and pool were not nearly as tranquil as we were hoping."

"Ideal house for 3 generations of family. Lovely outdoor pool, slide, Wendy house, children's playroom as well as basket ball and table tennis for the adults. Super outdoor eating area under pergola and lots of lovely local places to eat. Enjoyed local Wednesday food market and La Bastille celebrations at St Cyr."
