"The property is both beautiful and tranquil. A true gem for those that want to get away and enjoy scenic views and have peace. Our family arrived after hours of traveling and we were welcome to this beautiful home away from home. The owners were responsive to questions prior to our arrival. They anticipated our needs so we had no need to contact them during our stay. Highly recommended this property. "

Spacious Riverfront Home 7 Minutes to Stratton!

What a beautiful home!

"This was such a great place to stay! It had everything we needed and more. There were 3 couples and my mother-in-law staying here. We each had our own room and private bathroom with shower. Lots of games, including a pool table. A brand new hot tub... so nice! Plenty of towels and supplies. Apparently we hit mud season, which we didn't know was a thing, but when it rained, we all relaxed in the big family room with lots of comfy couches, pillows, and blankets. Another highlight was the massage chair. Amazing. It was in use most of the time. If we get back in the area, we will definitely stay here again. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful and communication was great. Thanks for letting us celebrate my mother-in-law's 80th in such a beautiful place. "

"My pup and I spent 2 nights over April break and the cabin was great. Rustic, cozy, and had everything we needed. Host was responsive and helped me figure out the VCR. Highly recommend if you want to get away to unplug"

Perfect for girls' weekend!

"The house was perfect for our girls weekend. There was lots of room to spread out. We took advantage of everything the house had to offer...hot tub, out door fire ring, indoor fire place, ping pong, pool table, games...this house had it all. It rained pretty much all weekend for us, but we had plenty to do! Whitley was very responsive to any questions we had during our stay. We will definitely be booking here again!"

"Had a great couple days at the "glamping cabin." The ride to get there on a dark foggy night was a bit thrilling, but could immediately relax once I got into the cabin. Place has everything needed for a semi-primitive cabin experience. Enjoyed the sauna and thencozy bed. "

"Cindy was a pleasure to work with! Her home was exactly as described. We felt very comfortable in her home and the town of Jamaica is so cute! We went to the cutest little general store every morning to get breakfast and lunch. There are plenty of board games to enjoy waiting for you as you arrive… it is 15 minutes from Stratton Mountain. There is a foyer to leave your boots and jackets to hang. "

Great Stratton Family House

"Our family really enjoyed our stay at the this house which has a great layout for the family and nice yard for the dog. Only 10 min to Stratton mountain for skiing and 12 min to Jamaica State Park for great winter hikes with the dog. the house was very clean and well kept and teenage daughters really loved the premium shampoos. I didn't ski and stayed at the house to do some work online -- internet connection was very good and had no issue working remote. This house is also nestled off the road surrounded by a stunning forest. Great stay!"

Two-story, dog-friendly house with wood fireplace

Not overly clean, and kitchen needs help

"This is a great house to stay in, but we did feel the house wasn’t overly clean. They also don’t have a simple vacuum or counter spray available so you can tidy up. The kitchen was large and great but there were barely any supplies. The pans are all scratched teflon, and it was a struggle to find proper cooking tools. The rooms were great, house stayed warm and it was a very easy commute to mount snow (only about 16 minutes). It is dog friendly and you.can tell- some dog hair left behind.The basement has a foosball table which was fun, but the doll house was very dirty and covered in dust. The basement needs to be finished to help make this house great (just concrete floors)."
