"The owner reached out to me as soon as I made my reservation. I was able to text him with questions before and after our arrival. The staff greeted us and made sure we were comfortable for the evening. My kids loved that we were staying in a "castle". The experience is very different from staying in a traditional hotel. "This is a well designed spece and concept for adults. They have everything you need and you trully feel disconnected from the fast pace of the city life. The food is amazing, done right there in from of you with natural local produce and ingredients. The service is outstanding, they trully strive to make you feel at home. "Pro: Very well located. About 20 meters from the beach. The place and room were as advertised. The next door restaurants (both) are really nice and their owners make you feel like family. Con: breakfast wasn’t included (yet the listing said it was) and the parking facilities left much to be desired. In fact discovered someone gifted me with a fender bender / hit and run while parked there."

"We were pleasantly surprised! Cabarette is a busy fun vacation location .... not peaceful but fun! The Brisas Dorados guest house is located in a quiet pretty residential area at the beach but no street noise about 2km out of town! Absolutely beautiful. Warm and caring hosts Digby and Anna. Breakfast was lovely. Upper rooms are spacious and have a great view. Good walking beach. Highly recommend this peaceful oasis!!"
