"Staff was not as available via phone/physically and this place being in a semi remote old fishing village of southern italy where a corolla type size car or larger cannot get down (golf carts are kind of available for guests to use during certain hours to get 3/4 mile of the way up where the parking lot if, was not ideal when traveling with a family and a small child. Room had a beautiful view and basic amenities were available."

"The Grand Hotel Aminta was a great base for our recent trip to the Amalfi coast. High up on the hill, it overlooks Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples and downtown Sorrento with breathtaking views. Their shuttle into town was very useful and accommodating to our needs. Breakfast buffet included daily. The entire staff is amazing. "Not sure if it was advertised as being so far from Sorrento center, or I just missed it, not their fault. Very helpful staff, beautiful views. They had a free shuttle which took 20-30 minutes into city center, which only ran at certain times. I had to pay $50 X2 to get into town early enough for me to get my excursions. With no car, it’s a little too far from center of town, great for those who want to be away from the hustle and bustle."

"Great location, pool, communal spaces and breakfast staff, mattress was quite poor however. Writing this review as I wanted to highlight to others that there is very limited parking on site. You will have a valet service which is EUR 25 per night. Definitely ask for your vehicle to arrive back at the hotel for your use at least 15 minutes before you actually need it. They were late every time which impacted our Pompei tour and returning the car to the rental company. "
