For the price, its worth the 30 min drive into town. Also its 1/4 mile from the beach and Dennys is next door. Ive stayed twice with my dogs and had a great time.

This motel 6 is conveniently located with eateries and Walmart for every shopping needs. Best of all the price is affordable and its not far from Monterey where all the major activities are minus high price of lodging and traffic. Only negative part is that there's no microwave oven, shampoo and hairdryer has to be asked for.
