"We were looking for a little escape from the hustle and stress of every day life. This was the perfect place! A short trip down the canal and you were on the lake. If you didn't catch anything on the lake for some reason, no problem, just fish the canal and catch a few bass. Boat house is a huge bonus especially since it rained one night and kept the boat dry. "The house was beautiful and our extended family had a great time staying here. The hosts were extremely thoughtful and considerate as there was a water main break for part of the whole city and the property was located in an area that was under a water boil order. The hosts checked in immediately to let us know what was happening and had plenty of bottled water delivered right before we arrived to last us our stay. "This property was absolutely ideal for our family gathering. 4 bedrooms allowed for just enough space, while the larger gathering areas brought all 7 of us together. We met my brother and his family from Ontario for the weekend and we were all amazed at just how friendly the neighbors and community members were. One neighbor even helped us fly our kites! We absolutely loved this little getaway and can’t wait to go back. "
