Quiet stay in the woods. Perfect

Good service

I was looking for a cheap place to spend the night but this was so much more than I expected. Friendly staff, filling breakfast, comfortable bed. Great experience.

Service was very slow at breakfast in the restaurant, even though there were only two other couples dining.

Loved this place and it was a good price. We were close to the Blue Ridge Pkwy in a cabin near the small campground that was wooded and private with a porch. The cabin had great cable tv options and a warm, fireplace insert. Cabins were comfortable and clean (rustic with modern bedroom). The room was clean. The staff were friendly. The steak at dinner was awesome. They also had snacks and drinks that you could purchase at reasonable prices in the shop downstairs. Great view.

When we first arrived, I was not wowed by the lobby but our room was wonderful. It was updated and very clean. The cleaning crew went the extra mile. The breakfast was not the best. There was a waffle maker, which is good but that was about it. Coffee in the lobby was hot and fresh even in the evening when we got back to the hotel. Overall, we were very pleased. One thing that was a little strange is that the entrance to the hotel property is through the parking lot of an ice cream place....

I am a solo nurse traveling for work and I was greatly satisfied. They made check-in super easy, I was close to the building in a well lit area and felt very safe. My accommodation was extremely clean. And leaving for work again early ,they made check out very easy as well. The front desk staff was friendly, courteous ,helpful ,and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this location to o my coworkers.

For a no frills, off the road motel, I wasn’t expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. As the saying goes, never judge a book by it’s cover. To start things off, the staff at the front desk was very nice and made us feel so welcome. He had a table full of a variety of soft drinks and told us to help ourselves. Planned a short getaway to hike Mount Mitchell and this place could not have been more perfectly located to the trailhead. The Lodge is newly built, and ground are impeccably well maintained. The staff was super helpful. They even came by to drop off a lighter so the firepit could be put to use. They have a common use area with a ktichen and grills that can be utilized which is an added bonus as I don’t recall reading about all they had available to make the stay above and beyond expectations....

We had free hotels.com nights and were disappointed that the boutique hotel in town wouldn't accept them so we booked the hampton inn instead. I am so glad we did. This place is fabulous. Super cute hotel with only 6 rooms upstairs and a bar/coffee counter downstairs with excellent beer/wine and coffee options, a fancy pizza truck on site, and lovely outdoor areas at the front and back. Perfection! Thank you to Lark Hospitality for giving these properties new life. The restoration is flawless and the rooms are gorgeous. The location is perfect - adjacent to the South Slope and just downhill from the heart of downtown Asheville.
