"Even while under lobby renovations, we found the convention center Marriott impeccably maintained. There was a weekend convention going on, but there was still parking in their garage. The pool and gym seemed to be closed due to the work going on. Great coffee at KC’s Korner and the location was an easy walk to local restaurants… :)"

"This could have a been a really nice stay, it’s in a great area and walkable to several restaurants. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. Basic check in and ordering a drink from the bar was met with an attitude of annoyance. Not a single person could be considered friendly or helpful. I had to call after several texts to request a receipt, and was again talked to like an annoyance. My shower was dirty and had clearly not been cleaned between guests. Pretty disappointed in my overall experience, I had higher expectations from this hotel. "

"Clean room, staff was polite. Room was aged but also inexpensive. Only stayed one night, in Augusta for Styx concert. For price, acceptable. If you want higher end go across street to Holiday Inn. "

The host was amazing at communication.The only 2 reason I am not giving 5 stars, the shower water would never get hot, even though the 2 sinks ran hot, the shower would only get warm at best. There is a bar right next door, 1 night it was very loud right outside the window. "

"The host has a number of properties & employs a full time concierge. During my stay, she made several trips to the suite, to solve problems or answer questions. I couldn't be happier with the kind of attention to detail that I experienced.I was here in Augusta looking for a place to rent long-term so I can move from out of state, and the broker who runs this property even helped me with that.
