"We were very disappointed when we arrived at the property. It was in a poor state of repair with 2 of the electric heaters hanging off the wall. The toilet was dirty and there were stains on the floor. Walls and doors were damaged and filthy as were the blinds in the rooms. There was also a bag of dirty laundry outside the front door. There was no welcome pack or information about the area. Both bedside lamps did not have bulbs. The check in required photo ID to be sent which was not...

"Good location for visiting castle. Nicely furnished. Problems with cleanliness in bathroom and to some extent in the kitchen. This matter has been taken up with the owner who says he will address the issues raised. "

"It is a nice cottage with enough space, modern furniture, good beds. Be prepared for quite some traffic noise from the busy road nearby. Limited possibility to sit outside. We stayed for two weeks and had a good time."
