"Immaculate and cozy one bedroom cottage next to numerous trails at Devils Hopyard and protected lands right from the door step. Very quiet and rural if that is what you're looking for. Restaurants about 5-10 miles away. Looking to stay again maybe next year for our Anniversary or another special occasion. Am going to recommend to family that I know would love this spot."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This cottage perfect for two people. The location has all the amenities you could ask for. Climbing up and down the 43 steps to cottage can be tiring especially for the elderly. There is Liquer store very close buy and grocery store within 5 miles. I must say that prices there very high, but in no way does that reflect on owner. We certainly are looking forward to coming back for another stay."

"We were there for a family event in Glastonbury for just a couple of days, and so we didn't go to the lake. However, the cottage was perfect for our needs -- quiet, allowed for contemplation, and privacy that we needed. We hope to perhaps and experience the beautiful lake."

"Only draw back was how busy the street was. Everything else was wonderful. Neighbor were very friendly pointed us in the best direction to catch some fish. Loved watching the rowers go by each morning. The family of ducks was something to look forward to each day."

"Just a couple miles from campus, great locale for a family stay. Bonus chocolate pretzels upon arrival appreciated. Very great communication from hosts. It is an older cottage w quirks of an older house w original bathroom w no mirror, steep staircase to basement off the kitchen, small TV, but great for playing some games and close place to sleep/shower."

"Beautifully updated home inside and out! Well stocked and very clean! The gas fireplace was definitely a plus! Location was perfect for a walk into town, or to get in the car and hop on the highway to go exploring. Owners were super accommodating and easy to work with as well."

"Loved our stay here. We found the cottage to be very welcoming. Everything was very organized with instructions for all the appliances, pellet stove, and tvs easily accessible. The main bedroom was nice and comfortable. The four season room was so inviting. The pellet stove kept the cottage very warm and the fire was so soothing. The kitchen is well stocked and the appliances were all new and in great working order. During our stay it rained almost all week so we did not get to use the outdoor...

"Cottage was decorated perfectly, the owner thought of everything! The back yard has a nice fire pit, wood included. We were 3 cousins having a mini reunion, it worked out beautifully. Quiet neighborhood near the lake, downtown is very quant, good restaurants, places to hike nearby. We were very happy! Thank you!"
