The best part of this hotel is the location. Fantastic location
Part of the issue here is hotels.com's wildly inaccurate description of this property. There isn't a pool and they don't serve breakfast. This is a riad, not a fancy hotel. Its very close to Jemaa el Fnaa Square, which is an extremely vibrant place where the action goes all night! If you want to stay somewhere quiet, don't stay in this area, its as simple as that. The buildings and riads around this area are super old; its a cultural experience to stay there. While you can't expect luxury here, you CAN expect friendly staff, a clean room, and an extremely convenient location. As a solo female traveler, i felt super safe and taken care of here! I would definitely book again if i ever go back to Marrakech!

The room was clean but very modest and a bit worn out but it was expected and ok at these prices. Central location, very friendly staff, good for if you're looking for just a place to shower and crash for a few nights. Quite noisy (but I have troubles sleeping). Great breakfast spot and restaurants right next to the hotel.
Old riad, with no facilities. Shower does not have enough hot water pressure at busy times. Curtains do not block out the light from the communal area. Otherwise, functional stay but don't come with high expectations.
The hotel is close to the Medina yet very quiet. I was placed in the upper floor, room 26. Be mindful that they don't have a lift/elevator so if you have luggages, be prepared to carry them all the way up with the stairs a little bit tight. The room is clean and everything I needed is there, except the evident smell of cigarette. Tolerable for me especially I have always brought my mini airfresheners, but I you are allergic to smokes, let the front desk be aware or they might give you a smoking room. Uber/Taxi cannot get closer esp at night so you needed to walk a little bit to go the hotel. Other than that, very helpful staff and I feel safe staying there.

The room was in tolerable condition compared to some of the other Riads and Hotels in the area. However, the room could use a deep cleaning and it had a strong mildew odor by the queen sized bed which made it unpleasant to breathe. My biggest concern was that I requested a room with heat when I booked but was placed in one without heat. After informing the male attendant I was told to stay in the room for a night and I’d be switched to another the next day. The next day I was told the same thing to again which was that they were fully booked. I asked for an extra blanket and the staff forgot to give it to me. The next day the male attendant apologized and insured me that I’d receive the blanket which was placed in my room later that day. I felt appalled because I stayed five nights and had to endure the cold which is hectic when you deal with arthritis. Especially since the place was a revolving door and the rooms were vacated daily.
