Great Riad close to the Medina

Younes and his team really made me feel at home in Marrakech from day one, with explanations as to how to get around the city by taxi or walking, where to find nice restaurants, buy souvenirs, etc. He creates a great atmosphere inside the Riad, where one is welcome to meet his friends and the other guests if one wishes. This allowed me to learn from Morocco when I came back from work, which I found much more friendly than being in an international hotel. The Riad is lovely, has an amazing rooftop terrace, a beautiful pond in the middle, plants, and elegant Moroccan decoration. It is quiet and appropriate for both business or tourism. The breakfast is excellent (homemade Moroccan pancakes and mint tea for me!) and the optional tajine dinners that were prepared for me were amazing. I also really appreciated that laundry was offered to me during my stay.

Un super endroit, propre agréable très calme, vraiment bien placé seulement 15 min de marche pour arriver sur la place Jamaâ El-Fna. Les hôtes sont adorables khadija Yassine et Younes ainsi que la demoiselle dont je ne connais pas le nom désolé... Merci pour votre gentillesse et votre bienveillance! I loved my stay and Yousen was an excellent host. My only challenge was finding the Riad. The front door is down a tiny alley and there is very little indicate the address.

Yacine who runs this property was super helpful, courteous and accommodating. A Riad by definition is a smaller property so do not expect things that you would at a regular hotel. However you will have an awesome living room/communal area, the room is stylish and well appointed in a traditional setting and you get an incredible home cooked breakfast. I would recommend arriving during the daylight hours, as the entrance to the property is down a narrow alley that may seem off-putting on first viewing, but it should be as behind the door it's completely different. It's not directly in the centre of Marrakesh, so expect a 10-15 minute walk to the main souks and attractions. The walk is fine, through a small residential area and then into the main Medina area.

The Riad was located in such an impoverished area and was quite unclean. I found COCKROACHES in my bedroom! Stay away and dont be fooled!! The photos of the rooms were quiye misleading. The workers were really nice.

In de oude stad. Goede sfeer in de directe omgevin

De gastheren zijn echte gastheren en niets is ze teveel. Of je nu een fles wijn wil of toch nog een mooie warme maaltijd, alles kon. Ook zijn ze bereid om het een en ander voor je te regelen. Fantastische plek.

El servicio, desde la recepción hasta la ida fue excelente, no me faltó de nada, el sitio era muy acogedor, muy silencioso teniendo en cuenta el ruido de la calle y muy cómodo por lo que hace a las instalaciones, además el personal tenía un trato cercano y en todo momento cuidaban que no nos faltara de nada. Como último apunte hay que decir que la limpieza del hotel era excelente y que te movieras por dónde lo hicieras no se veía ninguna suciedad.
