Séjour parfait. Le Riad est proche de nombreux lieux touristiques tel Jemaa-el-Fna, la Koutoubia, le palais de la Bahia ou les tombeaux saadiens. On peut se délasser au hammam et déguster une excellente cuisine marocaine. William, Mustapha et toute l’équipe sont des hôtes aux petits soins.

Maravillosa experiencia! Usamos todo lo que Riad ofrecía y quedamos encantados. Muy cerca de absolutamente todo, pero con una paz y silencio como si estuviera afuera de la Medina. Un lugar precioso, muy bien decorado y con un gusto increíble. Estuvimos en una habitación familiar, con 2 cuartos independientes, pero conectados que tenian una terraza muy bonita. Todo muy silencioso. El desayuno excelente. Un dia nos quedamos a cenar y comimos un Cous Cous delicioso y siempre muy bien atendidos. Tienen un equipo muy agradable y servicial. Los masajes muy recomendables. Volveríamos mañana mismo! Muy recomendable.

Das Riad eignet sich perfekt füt die Erkundung der Stadt. Es ist sehr sauber, und das Frühstückspersonal freundlich. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und uns fehlte es an nichts. Leider war der vereinbarte Transfer nach unserer Ankunft nicht anzutreffen und wir kontaktierten das Riad telefonisch, worauf ein Fahrer uns dann eine Stunde zu spät abholte. Wir empfanden es als nicht sonderlich schlimm, haben allerdings keine Entschuldigung vom Fahrer oder des Rezeptionisten im Riad bekommen. Wir nahmen das Dinner im Innenhof einen Abend in Anspruch, dieses war reichlich und lecker. Serviert wurde dazu eine Flasche Wasser. Der Nebentisch hatte eine Flasche Wein bekommen, bei der Nachfrage ob wir auch eine bekommen könnten, bekamen wir leider die Antwort dass sich keiner mehr im Haus befände und uns für den nächsten Tag eine reseviert wird. Leider bekamen wir die darauffolgenden Tage bei der Nachfrage immer die Antwort dass wir "später" eine bekommen könnten, was aber nie der Fall war. Im Wissen, dass in Marrakesch kein Restaurant oder Supermarkt eine Alkohollizenz hat dachten wir, dass es vielleicht einfach nicht üblich sei, verstanden aber nicht warum wir immer auf den nächsten Tag vertröstet wurden. Unglücklicherweise stand am letzten Abend nach unserer Ankunft im Riad bei einer Gruppe eine Flasche Wein auf dem Tisch uns wurde nach 3 maliger vorheriger Nachfrage keine mehr angeboten. Sehr schade, wir würden das Riad aber aufgrund seiner guten Ausstattung noch einmal buchen.

A tranquil riad away from the bustle of the city. Our standard room was a good size with air con and a lovely view over the central courtyard with its bubbling fountain & orange trees. Breakfast each morning served in one of the 2 courtyard gardens consisted of various breads/pastries/cakes, homemade yoghurt, omelette, fresh orange juice and mint tea/coffee. A 3 course evening meal cost 15EUR pp. Delicious, good portion size and authentic. Meal varied each night. Simply book at breakfast. While there we went on an excursion into the mountains costing 335dh/35EUR pp, although it was great to explore more of Morocco, the trip was very touristy and the lunch rather bland. We had a hamman & massage whilst at the riad which was simply heavenly. You are taken into a gorgeous room which is hidden away to receive the hamman (think seaweed, hot water and mud - it's better than it sounds) before receiving an hour long massage. Simply divine. It cost 40EUR pp and was worth every penny. The location of the riad is in the Kasbah district, so quieter than the Medina area. It is very close to the palaces (El Badi and El Bahia) as well as the Saadian tombs. It is within walking distance to the souks and main square but to get to the Nouvelle Ville (French district) you will need to get a taxi. Really helpful and friendly staff although it helps to brush up on your French before you go as little English is spoken. In addition they do NOT take card for 'extras' such as meals and hamman.

Nous avons tout aimé dans cet etablissement qui nous avait été conseillé par notre fille. La situation geographique tout d abord. Ensuite l endroit par lui meme. Un havre de paix. L accueil parfait de William, le directeur du riad et de Moustapha. L excellente cuisine servie sur place. Tout d abord un petit dejeuner copieux... et les tepas qui suivent ne sont jamais les memes. Bref nous recommandons a 500%cet endroit magique.

Nous avons passé 4 nuits en famille dans ce superbe Riad plein de charme et authenticité. Végétation luxuriante et décoration digne des milles et une nuits. Notre petite fille a adoré donner à manger aux petites tortues. Très belle suite familiale et propreté irréprochable. Un havre de paix en plein cœur de la Médina et à 15 minutes à pied de la Place Jema El Fna. Le personnel est bienveillant et aux petits soins. Petit déjeuner varié et très copieux avec crêpes marocaines et jus d'orange excellent. Nous vous conseillons aussi de goûter les succulents tajines et couscous de Fatouma. Les enfants ont adoré les navets confits! Le spa est également à faire, 35€ pour hamman traditionnel et massage de 1 heure. Un pur moment de bonheur en famille. Nous tenons à remercier William, le propriétaire pour son accueil chaleureux, Mustapha qui s'est occupé de tout pour les excursions et Rachid, le guide, conseillé par le Riad, tout simplement formidable et drôle avec ses minis interrogations pour les enfants. Une adresse à conseiller vivement!

Prachtige Riad op een fijne locatie

Een hele mooie Riad in de Kasbah, niet in de hectische medina, maar er vlakbij. Hartelijke ontvangst met muntthee. De kamers zijn zeer schoon en ruim. Het ontbijt is heerlijk vers en zelfgemaakt. Vooral heerlijke yoghurt!! Op loopafstand van de diverse bezienswaardigheden als het Sadii paleis, Bahia Paleis en Djema el Fna plein.

beau Riad dans la Kasba

Beau Riad, à 2 pas des tombeaux Saadiens, très calme pour des nuits sereines, personnel agréable, excellent petit déjeuner surtout le jus d' oranges extra ! Riad très bien entretenu. Une bonne adresse à recommander. Exception faite d' une soit disant navette pour l' aéroport, qui n' était qu' un des nombreux taxis de la ville (une Dacia) facturé 20 €. prenez vous même un taxi à l' aéroport !

Hiljainen, tyylikäs ja ystävällinen pieni riad

Rauhallisen sivukujan päässä Kasbahin pääkadulta sijaitseva pieni mutta viihtyisä riad, jossa henkilökunta on hyvin ystävällistä ja auttavaista. Huoneissa ei ole lämmitystä joten viileämpinä talvikuukausina yöllä voi olla viileä paitsi peiton alla. Yleiset tilat ovat tyylikkäät ja kattoterassi on mainio paikka rentoutua. Lyhyt matka kävellä Jemaa El Fnaa -markkinoille ja Kasbahin alueelle. Wifi toimii hyvin.

Super Lage, man findet bequem zurück:) Wir hatten über Expedia gebucht, ohne vorher bezahlen zu müssen. Zunächst bat man uns bei Ankunft um Barzahlung, womit wir nicht gerechnet hatten, man zeigte uns den Weg zum Geldautomaten. Allerdings war unsere Anreise ermüdend und man war einverstanden, dass wir doch erst am folgenden Tag bezahlen. Und siehe da, am nächsten Morgen, war plötzlich eine Zahlung per Kreditkarte möglich. Irritierend. Den Transfer vom Flughafen zum Riad hatten wir per E-Mail bestellt, was perfekt geklappt hat. Alles in allem war das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Magnifico riad

Autentico riad sito nella Médina, in una stradina molto caratteristica. Camera bellissima in stile locale con splendida vista sulla piscina. Servizio eccellente e buona la pulizia sia delle stanze che del riad in generale. Cibo buono e tipico locale. Ottimo anche il servizio hammam e spa, non di lusso, ma un’esperienza autentica. Prezzo adeguato.

Magnifique séjour

Nous avons passé 4 jours et 3 nuits dans ce superbe Riad magnifiquement aménagé et décoré avec goût... peu de chambres, du coup c’est une ambiance très privatisée... Nous avions une chambre avec balcon donnant sur la piscine, spacieuse, calme et literie de très bonne qualité. La propreté est impeccable. Le personnel est aux petits soins. Nous avons également pris tout les repas du soir au Riad et je dois avouer que c’était excellent pour un prix plus que raisonnable avec que des produits frais ( 15€ entrée plat dessert eau). Le spa est également à faire 35€ pour hammam et massage d’une heure un régale... Nous tenons à remercier également William le propriétaire et Jean - Pierre, Mustafa, et Rachid ( guide que le Riad nous a conseillé) tout simplement formidable, drôle et très interessant ! Nous espérons pouvoir retourner au plus vite à Marrakech ... en famille cette fois ci!

The staff are excellent! The Riad is beautiful and peaceful! The real medina experience. The massage and Hammam is very good! We all enjoyed our stay and if I go back I will stay at The Riad Les Jardins D'Henia again! Thank you to all the staff!
