"The only reason I am not excellent all the way is because it wasn’t quite as “ antique-ee as I thought otherwise it was clean comfy and everyone was amazingly sweet! A good stay and the breakfast - perfect! "

"The property is lovely but as you would expect with a historic home it was missing some modern conveniences. There weren’t enough plug ins for all your electronic devices to charge by the bed. There is some signs of foundation issues and the room we stayed in was pretty small with the bathroom being a bit bigger than two phone booths. Overall it was charming but I was glad we only were staying one night."

However, there are plenty of free breakfast continental items and specialty coffees and teas for your enjoyment. Self service what you want and how ever much you want. Snacks and drinks always available. Saw a staff member 1 time in almost a 2 days; however, the modern & convenient text service works fantastic!! I did have to use & got immediate responses. "At the time of booking a bed-and-breakfast I thought that breakfast would be included and be prepared by cook. But I got breakfast in a bag in refrigerator to take to my room. If I would’ve known prior to booking the bed and breakfast I would’ve not to stay there."

Free glasses of wine on the porch in the evening. Wonderful live music included on Saturday night. On-point advice about what to do around Asheville. All in a beautiful and historic home. I don't know what they could do to make it better. Just a fantastic place to stay."

"This was the perfect place for our family getaway. Perched on the top of a mountain with an amazing view. The place was clean and comfortable and felt like a home away from home. The whole experience was smooth and top notch. Everyone was so happy and impressed with this spot. It was so close to Asheville, we were able to go into the city for some of the time and explore.
