The call of the loons in the morning is a perfect soundtrack for sipping the first coffee of the day. Sun up to sun down, perfect weather, perfect scenery, and a perfect vacation.The cell reception is spotty, but wifi is great. Easy spot to find, kitchen equipped with everything we needed. Boathouse was a great spot to keep our water toys overnight.Always a quick response for questions."

"Beautiful decor and charming cottage. The kitchen has everything you need. Jeff was great in telling us to feel free in using the condiments there. The beds were comfortable and our evenings sitting on the deck were relaxing. Our time there was short as we had a wedding at near by Fox Harbour Resort. We definitely plan on returning for a longer visit and take in some of the near by golf courses. Thank you Jeff your place is beautiful!"

"Super friendly staff. Nice and rustic, well off the beaten path — a real hidden gem. Chalet was quite comfortable. Plenty cool on a mild summer evening with the windows open. Beautiful views in all directions. Great for an evening beverage. Mountain bike and walking trails immediately adjacent. Excellent Wifi. "

"Tabitha is a very gracious host. She is helpful and knowledgeable about anything and everything in Pictou. The maisonette is a quaint dwelling and is perfect for one or two people. Includes appliances, lovely soap and a filtered water pitcher! The best part of the stay is the location. Close to the water, shops, dining and a beautiful trail to leisurely walk through. The view from the room is stunning and the outdoor deck provides a cozy area to relax in. The vibe is a coastal one with accents of distressed wood and leather. Thank you Tabitha for providing such a wonderful accommodation during my vacation. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Pictou area. "
