Chalets in Nova Scotia

"We had a wonderful stay that made our anniversary so special! The hot tub was wonderful as well as the beautiful scenic view of the river. We both can’t stop talking about what a lovely time we had. We will definitely be back!"

"Unique property. Cozy warm and welcoming from the get go. Owners would respond to questions within minutes. Accommodations were immaculate and had everything we needed. They've literally thought of everything. Can't wait to visit again"

"When we arrived after a long trip we found the rooms were clean, welcoming and attractive. The cabin was well equipped and everything worked. Beautiful location, always enjoyed the drive up to Lunenberg."

"Extremely nice, quiet, and homey. Would definitely recommend staying here. The ski resort is walking distance, hot tub is great, even has a washer and dryer. Only heads up -- stairs are narrow and semi-steep, but those weren't an issue for us. We'd stay here again"

"Hot tub is Devine, everything is clean and thoughtfully provided. Basket of snacks was a sweet treat! We enjoyed the large deck and privacy very much ♥️we will definitely be back "

"Lovely to turn on the gas fireplace in the evening, really warms the space up. Place was clean and sturdily built. There was a big wind and rain storm while we were there and we were snug and cozy inside.Hosts were very responsive to any questions, and the caretakers were lovely. The site has steep stairs to the beach, and is fun to explore the rocks and pools for older children and adults. Go down the road to the regular beach access for swimming and sand though. The food truck at the gas...

"Quiet peaceful surroundings. Lots to do without leaving the site. Main house and bunkie sleeping accommodations both very clean and comfy."

"A lovely accommodation. The hot tub was a definite plus, especially after a day of travelling. Highly recommend this tiny home :)"

"Everything was beyond our expectations for our family trip to Nova Scotia.Spacious, clean and private.Beautiful."

"My wife and I couldn’t be happier with our stay. The staff was amazing. The food was delicious and the servings were great. The accommodations were even better than the pictures on the website. The view was absolutely stunning. I have nothing but great things to say about Cabot Shores Wilderness Resort and its staff. My wife and I can’t wait to go back again. "

"It’s a big beautiful house, it has everything you would need in the kitchen. And the downstairs was so much fun! But very quiet and relaxing! With the most amazing views"

"Beautiful spot "

"Great property and a wonderful location! House was very well appointed, and the treat basket was an amazing surprise!"

"We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful log cabin! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the property and the incredible view. It was so peaceful and relaxing, and honestly the kind of place you just want to sit outside, take everything in, and enjoy the surroundings. The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and had such a warm, welcoming feel. The entire property is beautiful and you can really tell how much care has been put into it.The owner was also incredibly friendly and...

"We were to be in the Green Chalet (the word chalet is quite misleading). Informed host we would be arriving late. Chalet could only be identified by the roof colour, which in the dark is not visible. A sign on the cabin would have been helpful. The breakfast (an additional charge) was watery scrambled eggs, cold pancakes, dry bread, frozen raspberries. The manager was to be in at 8:00, finally showed up at 8:25. The other staff were unable to assist with check-in. As a result, we were unable to...

"Beautiful location and views of the ocean. We loved hearing the waves and seeing all the wildlife. Very peaceful, secluded and quiet, yet only 15 minutes away from Cole Harbour with groceries and restaurants. The house itself is very charming and deceptively spacious. The sauna and hot tub were a special treat. Shea was an awesome host - very responsive and easy to communicate with. Overall we had a wonderful stay!"

"The Flyby is a superb cozy but large cabin in a wonderful location overlooking the Atlantic and with plenty of surrounding grounds. Tony was a friendly and helpful host, and gave suggestions for local hikes which were much appreciated. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat close to Cape Breton it would be hard to beat."
